Dr. Susan Langmore with class
This month, we were honored to have Dr. Susan Langmore, a renowned speech pathologist from the United States come to teach FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing), an instrumental method for assessing swallowing disorders developed by Dr. Langmore in 1988. The training was very successful, and the trainees worked very hard. The director of the hospital, in a very unusual move, came to the closing ceremony to thank Dr. Langmore personally. Our doctors and physical therapists were very happy to receive their certificates.
