Speech Therapy Cambodia’s new video! After a fantastic week of FEES training in January, Dr. Susan Langmore and Dr. Samnang Sann talk about the course and the wider need for trained speech therapists in Cambodia.
At the training, Dr. Langmore taught an enthusiastic group of physios, nurses and doctors how to perform swallowing assessments using a fiber optic endoscope, following procedures developed by Dr. Langmore. She was joined by experienced speech pathologist, Stuart Bradley, whose company has kindly donated a new endoscope to Calmette Hospital. Dr. Langmore has also arranged for other companies to donate FEES equipment, and she will return to Cambodia to offer additional FEES trainings.
Kudos to Jonathan Watson Short for this inspiring video. Please share this link with others who may be interested in our mission: https://www.speechtherapycambodia.org/videos/
