SreyLeak Chan is a physical therapist and dysphagia clinician at Phnom Penh’s Calmette Hospital. She received training from the Speech-Language Pathologists of SSTC and gets ongoing support from SSTC in integrating her work into the hospital’s systems.

“I think that this service is very useful for the patients because we can help them to swallow better, help them to avoid choking. We also can reduce patients’ depression. We can advise them with this service on how to avoid pneumonia. They look more healthy and more alert than the patients who did not have dysphagia assessment.”
