Sustaining Partners’ monthly donations help ensure SSTC’s healthy growth, like the water that helps a tree to grow.
In the last few months, you may have seen updates on the incredible progress we are making in providing training to Cambodian clinicians to identify and treat patients with dysphagia and in building the profession of speech therapy in Cambodia.
This progress could not have happened without the dedication of our Cambodian sister organization: Speech and Swallowing Therapy Cambodia (SSTC). This small team is the cornerstone of our presence in Cambodia.
SSTC builds relationships with key stakeholders in the Cambodian healthcare system, including the Ministry of Health, the Medical and Nursing Councils, public hospitals, public and private universities, and other Cambodian organizations with a similar mission.
The SSTC team also plays a critical role in the support and coordination of the short- and long-term volunteer Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who provide training for the teams of Cambodian dysphagia clinicians at public hospitals in Phnom Penh.
As a Sustaining Partner, you will be joining other dedicated supporters who make monthly donations to help cover the ongoing operational expenses of SSTC each month, including staff salaries, translation support, office space, utilities, transportation, taxes and registration expenses.
To become a Sustaining Partner, click this link to our MightyCause donation page. Then select “Monthly Donation” to set up a recurring monthly donation.
Your monthly donation – no matter how big or small – will make a difference in providing dysphagia services in Cambodia and improving the lives of Cambodians with swallowing difficulties.
Thank you for your support and for helping us create lasting change in Cambodia!
