We are pleased to announce that speech therapists Annie Johnson and Paula Espinosa are both back at SSTC in Phnom Penh, preparing to resume training and supervision in our hospital-based dysphagia programs.
Paula has rejoined the team recently and Annie has returned from a short break to the UK. They are pictured here during our staff meeting with the US team (via Skype). We are so happy to have them both back with us!
On a less happy note, Dr. Raul Herreras, who joined us in January, had to return to his home in the US for personal and economic reasons, triggered by the spread of COVID-19. Raul will continue to volunteer remotely with us as he pursues a new SLP position in El Paso, Texas. We are very grateful to Raul for his wonderful work!
