During her recent visit to Cambodia, Betsy worked with Veasna and Dalin (our former interpreter) and with Kathy to hire a new program assistant and two Rotary-funded interpreters. We did find some great young Cambodian women for these roles, so intelligent and with impeccable English skills.

Most of you know of our General Manager Leng Veasna who has been with SSTC for almost six years! Veasna has developed real leadership skills and is now comfortable working with the intricacies of Cambodian Ministries and heads of hospital departments, and juggles all of the mundane as well as complicated details of running an organization too!
Yous Sreynoch, SSTC’s new Program Assistant, is working with Kathy who is helping her to develop her project management skills and course coordination skills. Sreynoch will provide translation and interpretation for the university course lectures and workshops and will help train the two new Rotary-sponsored interpreters, Han Srey Ray and Lam Saychariya. Sreynoch will also take on our social media posts and Veasna will introduce her to the Ministries and to other work of his.
This great team is amazing in their untiring efforts to make this the best program possible!
