SPEECH THERAPY CAMBODIA was formed in 2013. This is a legally protected entity in the United States, meaning that all contributions are used exclusively for the needs of the organization, and not for individual profit. US tax-exempt status was granted in September 2013 and fundraising is now beginning.
Donations are targeted to fund medical equipment, transportation for patients traveling to and from outpatient clinics, fees for Khmer interpretation and translation services, air fare, housing and per diem expenses for speech pathologist volunteers, business expenses such as website design, office supplies, brochures and the like.
As our program grows, formal fundraising is being sought so as to improve our ability to provide speech pathologist trainers year-round, and to fund visiting professors to teach Speech Pathology at Cambodian universities.
